Sedation - superficial sleep

Sedation is the reduction of irritation or excitation by the use of sedatives, mainly to facilitate the medical procedure.

An important point: sedation is NOT an anesthetic. The main difference: the patient under the sedads is not "disconnected", but always remains in the mind, can respond to questions, open their eyes. Some patients even describe the state of mild euphoria - an amazing feeling in the dentist's office.
